Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Yeh, Kahaan Shuru Kahaan Khatam

Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Yeh, Kahaan Shuru Kahaan Khatam.....
Recently, Indian Cinema has celebrated the golden 100th years with an feature film, which contains four short films, directed by four ace directors of Bollywood. In Karan Johar`s story a young boy enters in his house and says to his father "Main Chakka nahi hoon, main Gay hoon". In other family, a 22 years old Randeep Huda is an famous news reader for an leading english news channel and his wife (Rani Mukherji) is an editor of entertainment desk, and new player of her team is that gay character whose first sentence in his introduction is "Main Gay Hoon". He also wants to know something about her sex life. We have not seen these type of characters, Conversations and dialogues in indian films in last 99 years, but it will be common in next 100 years, because Karan Johar has given the dose of 'Homosexuality' in his previous films. Even in his previous film (Student of the year), he has shown the character of gay dean, which is well played by Rishi Kapoor. Even this dose was also available in his two productions 'Kal ho na ho' and 'Dostana'. In the end, wife get to know that his husband is homosexual, and she feels free from this fake relationship.
'Homosexual' is not an new genre for indian, especially hindi films. Deepa Mehta`s female oriented film 'Fire' is also based on an 'Lesbian' relationship. Onir`s cinematic outing 'I am' also tells the subject of this 'Homosexuality'. The love making scene between Rahul Bose and Arjun Mathur created couple of controversies that time. Some "Hindutava" parties (Shiv Sena and Rashtriya Swyam Sevak Sangh) had taken this film very seriously and stated that this type of cinema can create nagative effects on younger generations. Bollywood cinema has a long tradition of having comic sequences of 'Gay' or 'Lesbians' of  such as Abhishek Bachchan in Dostana and Bol Bachchan, Govinda in Partner, Mithun Chakarboty in Oh My God, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias in 'Kya Super Cool Hai Hum'.
Films portraying gays and lesbian relationships in indian cinema are two of kind. One kind represents the truely indian film and other is the insult of this special species. Interstingly, the message they carry is more or less the same. Deepa Mehta`s fire is an turning point in bringing out lesbian relationships in the open. Like 'I Am', Fire also gained some controversies by so called N.G.O.`s. Only selective audiences and elites are giving prefference to this type of genre, and cheap masses just laugh on this special relationship, as i experienced while watching Karan Johar`s story in Bombay Talkies. Homosexuality is an unusual genre which will make it place in few years and lots of genres will be discovered like this. Bollywood is really a deep sea, which have no end of types and Genres. Because, Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Yeh, Kahaan Shuru aur Kahaan Khatam.....
